CYBERSECURITY AWARENESS SEMINAR

Dar es Salaam Institute of Technology (DIT) is organizing an Awareness Seminar

on Cybersecurity to be held on Tuesday, 23

rd

December 2014 (3:30pm -5:30pm)at Dar es Salaam Campus (Bibi Titi Street and Morogoro Road Junction). This is

an ideal seminar for students in a field of ICT and other fields due to the fact that

Cybersecurity landscapes keeps changing with threats, actors, technologies and

methods of attacks are constantly change. The need for students from various

institutions in Tanzania, to greatly contribute to the war against cybercrimes in the

country is highly encouraged.

Title: Cybersecurity Awareness Seminar

Objective: A Two hours seminar aims to provide a forum to the young ICT

students and other fields at large from colleges and universities to

learn about the latest advancements in the field of cybersecurity and

identify effective cyber/information security solutions for general

public and organizations.

Venue: The venue for this seminar is ASA Lounge (DIT Dar es Salaam campus).

Time:3:30pm -5:30pm

Facilitator: Mr. Yusuph Kileo (Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics investigation

Expert)

ICT students are encouraged not to miss this seminar Due to increasing demands

in the field of cybersecurity, there is a need for not only fresh methods to curb

cybercrimes but also for fresh intellectual engagement to fight cybercrimes
