that you and the members of the Siting Board support them as well.
This facility is one of Niagara County's largest employers and a loyal member of
the community. The tax base generated by CWM provides significant funding to our
local towns and schools. The job development by CWM affects not only those directly
employed by this company, but also provides work to local companies that are needed
to support their operations and environmental stewardship. CWM also regularly
provides meaningful support and funding to many organizations, including school
districts, hospitals, towns and charitable organizations.
This is a facility that provides a vital service for environmental remediation
projects and manufacturers who need to dispose hazardous wastes in a safe, effective
and environmentally sound manner. CWM must follow strict standards set forth by both
State and Federal regulations to protect the environment and the health of the local
citizens.
