Summary I have a consolidated professional expertise in aerospace systems design, analysis and testing, gained by working on ASI & ESA contracts for almost six years, and by performing research for surveys studies since my graduation. Moreover my expertise covers system engineering, with greater emphasis on space mission design, engineering requirements and it’s quickly strengthening within management domain, focusing on program and proposal management. As main professional experiences within the space domain, I worked after university degree for several years with Mr. Giorgio Perrotta (Spacesys founder and former owner,CEO and CTO) as independent consultant structural engineer / structure designer. Since June 2008 I’ve been working in Spacesys within the Thermo-Structural Dpt. holding positions of structural designer & analyst coordinator supporting Rheinmetall Italia SpA in MAGIA lunar mission (ASI sponsored “Piccole Missioni”) growing to be an aerospace system engineer. I was in charge of the activities related to mission analysis and requirements definition of all the programs of my Company with a particular regard to AROSAT VHR EO monitoring and surveillance mission led by Rheinmetall Italia SpA with Spacesys SRL support. During this activity my duty was supervision and coordination of small Spacesys internal teams, external teams from the prime contractor and subcontractors. A particular effort was performed in payload requirements definition/estimation especially on I/F structural/thermal requirements (launch stress environment analyses performed with MSC PATRAN® and NASTRAN®), I/F electronic requirements (input and output datarate estimation to/from mass memory and downlink system), acquired image errors definition and estimations; for a better comprehension of EO imaging system&products I attended a specialized course in EO imaging tools & GIS like ERDAS® and ARCVIEW®. Another important activity in AROSAT mission concerned duties in mission analysis through orbital definition analyses (drag and gravitational perturbations estimation for orbital correction definition policy) performed with AG STK® and Orbital Workbench®. Within the requirements definition area, the key experience was the entire program Phase A0/A1 System Review, as responsible of preparation for subsequent phases (under the coordination of Spacesys CEO/CTO). I’m author of different surveys/trade off on EO space systems/subsystems and launchers. I’m author of different papers, published as journal articles and within conference proceedings, on structural analysis and design for a spacecraft dispenser for the VEGA Launcher and MAGIA Lunar Observation Mission and other EO missions. I was co-responsible in the ESA sponsored PETIT project of environmental (structural and thermal) tests for breadboards and qualification models. I was the proposal manager and responsible of redaction for answers to ESA ITTs for my
