Typhoon moored on the uninhabited island of Santa Luzia Cape Verde. This is a protected island (nature reserve). A paradise island all to ourselves – a very privileged moment!
Our second stop off on Sao Nicolau island after CV port pick up, before we embarked on the final leg to Sal island. An unusual sight for the locals.

The 2010 Blue Marlin World Cup Winner. Caught in CV by Captain Berno Niebuhr. Also won in 2006.
Dorado fish. CV is one of the only places in the world, this fish can be fished off the coastline.
There are large shoals of huge yellow fin tuna, due to lack of commercial fishing.
