PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Manager Implementation Core (Mobilink Modernization Project) Ericsson Pakistan September 2013 – Till Date
Worked on a 2G/3G Modernization Project for the biggest cellular operator in Pakistan i.e. Mobilink, responsible for overall Core Implementation activities throughout the country. In total 50 EVO BSCs and 5 EVO RNCs were successfully deployed in the network.Ericsson’s latest controller – EVO Controller 8200 – is the market’s only true multi controller. The EVO Controller 8200 is a vital component of the RAN evolution strategy. It combines the functions of the GSM base station controller (BSC) and the UMTS radio network controller (RNC) in one common network controller. With the EVO Controller, we are making it easier to leverage investments in GSM, while offering WCDMA customers even higher performance levels. The Ericsson GSM BSC and WCDMA RNC product family gives an operator a wide choice of configurations for different network topologies, from metropolitan optimized for high traffic to rural optimized for coverage. The EVO Controller 8200/RNC is built to handle the increased demand from smartphones, as well as laptops.
Managed Services Senior Consultant for BO (Mobliy Project) Ericsson Saudi Arabia May 2008 – August 2013
As a customer network back office support interface, my primary role is to handle all operational issues.
Emergency handling for different CORE entities. Conduct technical and Management escalations. My role requires me to improve Customer Satisfaction Index. Participate in development and deployment of global delivery strategies and guidelines. Responsible for service readiness and life cycle management for products. Sr. Core Networks P&D Consultant for Mobilink Pakistan February – April 2008
LCC was awarded a contract for completing E2E GSM network planning audit of largest operator in Pakistan i.e. Mobilink. The audit team worked in sync together to ensure an E2E analysis of network performance. The audit process was similar to a total quality management process review and is generally staged on incremental steps. My key responsibilities include review of NSS network design, assessment of performance and optimization, review of procedures and recommendations based on key findings.

Worked as a Team leader for Pakcom AS154 (V5) to AS161 (V6) TDMA upgrade project.
Led a team of 5 people during the life cycle of the project. Provided project feedback to PM and customer on regular basis. Overall responsible for the upgrade project. Testing and commissioning of BYB 501 based MSC 5000 with APZ 212 30 and APG30. Conversion of Version-5 APZ 212 20 IOG 11 dumps to Version-6 APZ 212 30 APG30

MILLENNIUM UPGRADE PROJECT
Project team member for the Millennium Upgrade project. Converted AS100 system dumps to AS148 using FCDAT. Installation testing of BYB501 based MSC-300 and MSC-150 with APG30. Testing of APZ 212 30 and APZ 212 25 at customer sites during upgrade. On-site replacements of 1GB Hard Disks with 2GB Hard Disks. Testing and commissioning of International Gateway Exchange based on BYB 501at TG3
level with AS24.
CUSTOMER SUPPORT INTERFACE (MOBILE & PSTN OPERATORS) Customer Support Interface for TDMA and PSTN Customers in Pakistan.

ODEN (APZ 212 30) TESTER
Performed factory testing of APZ 212 30 (ODEN), which included power tests, initial tests, +5% and –5% voltage stress tests, dump tests, loading of data through different combination of RP and CP sides, serial and parallel RP bus tests and forced executive selection tests.
Fault finding and trouble shooting of all APZ 212 30 faults. Co-ordinating with Node testers in Node Production Centre for Error Interrupt faults during
loading of full data customer dumps.
APG30 TESTER
Installation of IPM50, HSYNC, IPM51 patches and ERICSSON APLICATION SOFTWARE during the process of Maiden Installation of APG30 for many TDMA markets in South America.
Creating disks, volumes and configuring TCP/IP and the Ethernet boards Fault finding of APG30 related problems.
AXE TESTER
I was involved in testing of customer nodes, based on the BYB501 configuration. This involved booting up of all hardware, functional testing of each part of the exchange and trouble shooting of all faults and problems.
During the node testing, I gained experience on the troubles in R7 dumps, used for (GSM markets).
Worked on many MSC5000 nodes, which included the standard and optional cabinets testing.
BYB 501 HARDWARE TESTER
Performed comprehensive factory testing of the new AXE switches based on BYB501 Hardware structure in the Node Production Centre of Ericsson UAB in Östersund, Sweden.
Proficiency on MSC-150, MSC-800 with APZ 212 20/25, IOG 20B&C and APG-30. Working on MSC-300 and MSC-2000 with Adjunct Processor APG-30.
