Day Camp Assistant Coordinator, North Carolina USA (May’14/Aug ’14) Promoted to Coordinator (May ‘15/Aug ’15)

Promoted from my previous role due to recognition of hard work and commitment. Responsible for the programming of a summer day camp season, supervising 160 kids daily and assisting and leading in activities and dealing with any situations that arose. First point of contact for parents with issues and concerns, also dealing with any disciplinary action needed. Dealing with sensitive issues such as bullying and behavior amongst children age ranged from 5-13.

Street Team Member, Liverpool O2 Academy (Jun ‘10/Jun ’12) Newcastle (Sep 12’/Apr 14’)

This role is a non-paid one that requires me to deliver promotional materials around the city center and on campus, it involves me dealing with members of the public on a daily basis and I represent the O2 as a brand I also work on gig nights handing out flyers and promotional goods the rewards I gain come in the form of guest list entry to events at the O2 academy’s nationwide.

Camp Counselor at Camp Kanata North Carolina, USA (May ’13/Aug’13)

Camp counselor responsible for 6-12 year olds through the day and night at a stay away summer camp, some children had disabilities both physical and mental. Also a counselor during the day for children 6-16 boys and girls teaching general activities and being there for safe supervision during swim times.

Britvic Student Brand Ambassador, Northumbria University (Oct ‘12/Jun ’13)

This role was to promote Britvic soft drinks among my campus both through online social media events and sampling products around my University campus and running competitions among the students. This was a one-year role that I thoroughly enjoyed.

Food court assistant at St. John’s Shopping Center, Liverpool (Apr ‘10/August’12)

This job required all round customer service and dealing with the public at all times. Due to the working area being on display to the general public a professional role was maintained at all times, this job required me to deal with complaints and queries as well as general cleaning duties. I unfortunately had to leave this job due to University.

Waiter at the Leasowe Castle, Wallasey (Sep ‘10/ Apr ’11)

This role required me to maintain a professional level of customer service whilst catering for weddings and events at a 4 star hotel, this was a very high pressure job with deadlines that needed meeting that I successfully undertook for a year I left this job due to my contract being temporary.

Interests and Achievements

Duke Of Edinburgh AwardBronze, silver and gold level achieved. In this award I took part in team building exercises also I went on an expedition to Wales and Yorkshire for 5 days and 5 nights. Part of this task required me to do a service and skill out of school and on my own this shows independence and the use of my initiative.

Duke OF Edinburgh Volunteer Youth LeaderI have gone on many expeditions (30+) with younger students as youth volunteer leader, which I held many responsibilities, which required me to gain basic first aid in emergency situations, I also have a current Child protection certificate which I have trained and studied for. This also involved me to further improve my organisational skills, and greatly improve my presentation skills through teaching classes of 50+ students about map work and how to correctly navigate and administer first aid in emergency situations.

Music and ComedyI love music and have been part of a band (Clever Criminals) that won North West Battle Of the Bands 2012. During this time I was in charge of social media and graphic design for EP covers and posters/tickets. I also like to partake in Stand up comedy where I reached the Young Comedian Final in 2010 performing in St Georges Hall in Liverpool.

Charity WorkAll through my school years I have raised over £5,000 for various charities. By using my musical talents and comedy I have organized performances for our school with ticket sales of 600+ over two nights in out theater, this required although on a small scale a lot of preparation from myself and my band mates. I have also done Charity nights busking and a fundraising event where 5 of us Skydived to help our sister school in Nigeria we raised £600 for this event and helped built a school building
