-Know the purpose of your resume/CV-Instead of creating a long (and boring) list with all your qualities try to connect them with real life and work experiences-Use effective titles. Accounting vs. Management of A/R and A/P and Recordkeeping-Put the most important information firstStatements like “Available for interview” or “References available upon request” is not good.

Who gets the opportunity?

The person who gets the contract offer is not always the best person available for the job.

They are the best person available at knowing how to get offered a job - a subtle difference.

The people with the best CVs will get interviewed, not necessarily the best available people. Preparation is the most important!
