Executes the specific inspections of materials, equipment and construction /installationactivities on site.

Ensures that all inspection and testing equipments and instruments used by contractors arecalibrated.

Issues the relevant Quality Records and, when necessary, write and send to QualityControl Coordinator, non conformances reports, verifying conformity of the work tospecified Quality requirements and ensuring that the inspections and controls are carriedout and documented in accordance with the Quality.

Performs checks to ensure that all installed item are to the correct specification and that thematerial is in accordance with the specified Material Traceability requirements.

Review and comment, if any, QC procedures of Contractors related to electrical &Instrumentation work.

Checks cable and cable tray laying and cable identification. Checks all electrical termination, cable jointing, glanding. Inspects location, orientation and alignment of electrical equipments, panels, breakers,

transformers, cubicles, switch gears. Performs loop checks. Checks installation of power transformers, switchboard, accumulator battery, sockets

outlet, lighting system.

Performs tests of continuity, insulation resistance, earthing resistance. Orderly collects and manages/checks documents certifying tests, controls and inspections

documents, ensuring that all work and testing related records form a complete package andreflect the ‘As Built’.

Collects, identifies and preserves all approved samples of electrical fittings supplied byContractors and inspects and approves the bulk supply with respect to samples approved.

Reviews as built drawings. Coordinate with Contractors’ QC Team for daily work and sign off all relevant records. Followup the outstanding QC work with Contractors. Ensures the correct implementation of the approved Inspection Test Plan by the

Contractor. Examines visually work in progress and effectively supervises repair procedures. Verifies special processes and the relevant workers’ qualifications. Performs precom checks and document the same in proper formats. Performs final inspection/walkthrough systemwise, prepare punch list and follows up the

closing of punch list points. Coordinates with Certification Authority Inspectors at site for witness inspection and gets all

documents signed off by him as required in ITP. Maintains progress of work of the project and reports to QC Coordinator about any

outstanding work to be performed. Reviews the "as built" dossier of Contractors in line with specified project requirements. In behind of quality department, to attend weekly contractor’s meetings. Other as instructed by Quality Control Coordinator or Project QA/QC Manager.
