Germany, Dieksand field - Extended reach horizontal wells with >8,000m departure. North Sea – supporting jack-up rig operations. Libya - supporting 3 land rigs. Reported to John Gerstenlauer. Jun 94 – Dec 97 BP Ops Drilling Engineer Operations DE for Foinaven field – deep water (500m), extended reach horizontal wells. Planned first dual lateral well for Foinaven - reported to Dave Howes and Don Forbes. Prepared report entitled “Feasibility of dual lateral well in Marnock HPHT reservoir”. Prepared Front End Engineering Design Drilling work for Foinaven - reported to Carl Mountford and Graham Prentice. Prepared Design and Ops Safety Case submissions for Foinaven.
