-Configured an ORACLE instance (pilot system) to demonstrate system capability, and to prepare the organization for the live instance. The pilot was configured using Vision, using live asset data. I designed and documented the live data conversion templates and scripts, ready for use in loading the ‘Live’ instance.- Mapped and reviewed the ‘As-Is’ business processes relating to all aspects of work management and financial management for an oil and gas exploration and production organization in Oman.- Built and reviewed the ‘To-Be’ business processes to reflect introduction of a ‘green-field’ facility and integration of that facility into the existing array of production assets.
- Performed Demonstrations and Training for all personnel necessary ranging from CEO to Maintenance Supervisors.- All client configuration and live data use was accomplished with an ‘Out-of-the-box’ non-customized ORACLE installation, using data gathered and provided by a third party. Technical resources and reference documents were tied to asset records, as were bills of materials. - Position required daily interaction with business unit managers, product center managers, product cell leaders, and foreman to meet daily build schedule of 180 units per day. Responsibilities included rapid response tactical management of manufacturing issues, supply chain interaction, production methodology modifications and heavy industrial engineering responses.- Performed the business case analysis and presentation for a $600,000 project to bring in and setup a second laser for the steel services center, and managed the installation of the project.
