ê In addition to a regular collaboration with newspaper Público, I‘ve been doing sporadic work for the newspaper Ara (Barcelona), and the magazine Flor-de-Lis (institutional title from ‘Corpo Nacional de Escutas’, a portuguese scouts association). More recently, I’ve worked for the World Organization of the Scout Movement to photographically document scouts’ activity resulting from a worldwide activity in Sweden.

INTERNSHIPS 2010 ê PÚBLICO – JOURNALIST OF LOCAL LISBOA’S SECTION - WWW.PUBLICO.PT (Sept-Dec) It’s a daily portuguese national newspaper. The print edition celebrated 20 years in

2010. Since 1995 also has a digital edition. My internship lasted for 3 months in Local Lisboa’s section. I wrote essentially for the print edition. Immediately after the internship, I kept to this day as an external collaborator.

2010 ê SOCIEDADE CIVIL, RTP 2 – JOURNALIST - WWW.COMPANHIADEIDEIAS.COM (May-July) The program is conducted and presented by a journalist and broadcasts live daily. It

has four guests and special reports and interviews about the subject [my main task]. It aims to clarify and provide useful and innovative solutions to citizens on issues that are on the agenda: citizenship, education, health, food, justice, society, among others.

2010 ê SETÚBAL NA REDE – JOURNALIST/CONTENTS MANAGER - WWW.SETUBALNAREDE.COM (January-April) I got inside the newspaper office one week after finishing my degree. Setúbal na Rede is

a regional online publication and was the first portuguese exclusively online newspaper, was born in 1998. Currently, it’s the newspaper with largest audience in the district of Setubal, having approximately 50 000 unique visits per month.

EXPERIENCE 2011 ê Interviewer at international project SHARE (LISBON) - WWW.SHARE-PROJECT.ORG.PT I was part of the Portuguese team of the project SHARE (Survey of Health, Ageing and

Retirement in Europe), the largest sociological study taking place in the European Union since 2006. Its main goal is to characterize, country by country, the elderly population, with 50 and more years old. Around 40 000 interviews have been done so far.

2010-2011 EXTERNAL COLLABORATOR OF PÚBLICO’S NEWSPAPER ê PÚBLICO (Local correspondent in the Peninsula of Setubal, PORTUGAL) – WWW.PUBLICO.PT I write, as a local correspondent, for the newspaper since December 2010, covering

mainly the municipalities of Almada and Seixal.

2011 ê Collaboration with the newspaper ARA during elections’ period I did a photographic collaboration in the period that preceded parliamentary elections in June 2011. 2011 ê Enumerator in CENSOS 2011 (LISBON)

Between March and June I delivered, collected and helped to fill in questionnaires to more than 800 individuals. Censos 2011 is developed every 10 years by INE, the national statistics institute, and it’s the largest statistics operation held in Portugal. http://censos.ine.pt/

2010 ê Photographer and Reporter in the newspaper Karibu (KENYA)

During the 13th World Scout Moot, the world's first scouts activity adults conducted in Africa between late July and early August, and where I attended as participant, I’ve also served as a field photographer and reporter. There was a newspaper being produced inside the camp. 2010 ê Local correspondent of newspaper ”SETÚBAL NA REDE” (SEIXAL/ALMADA)

After completing the 3 months’ internship period, I kept under cooperation with the newspaper, as a local correspondent in the municipalities of Almada and Seixal, only for a few months.

2010 ê Cinematography in the short-movie “2 Metros de Bagageiro” -48 Horas- (LISBOA)

I joined a team that entered a cinema festival contest to produce a short-movie in 48 hours. The final product needed to be a short-movie with less than 7 minutes. My task was to assist the cinematography direction (lights, color, shots’ planning).

Free monthly publication distributed mainly in Barcelona and Madrid. It has an editorial type dedicated to fine arts, music, fashion, film, photography, etc. I wrote and photographed between February and April 2009, approximately.

2009 ê Redactor and Photographer at university’s paper "Pols Mèdic” (BARCELONA) It was an 80 hours project, made under the subject “Editorial and Press Design Workshop”, from journalism studies at University Pompeu Fabra. Starting from scratch, from logo and graphic design to the final printing process, this project served to improve not only concepts of writing and

2008-2009 ê Member of the documentary project “VERSURA” (BARCELONA) During two subjects of Audiovisual Communication’s degree at the University Pompeu Fabra, I’ve participated from the script and pre-production to shooting and post-production on a documentary film project. The final draft has approximately 18 minutes and it’s an essay about the cycle of stuff our societies consume. Shot in High Definition, edited in AVID.

2008 ê Camera Assistant at the short-movie filme “ÉIDOS” (16mm film) (BARCELONA) It is a fiction short film shot in 16mm film format. The work was done for a subject at the University Pompeu Fabra, “direction and production of fiction cinema genres”. In the shooting, I’ve been the main camera assistant, and also helped the cinematography team.

I did a few journalistic work for my university’s newspaper - URBI ET ORBI. Some of that work, both text and images, has been published in the online edition – WWW.URBI.UBI.PT - and some in the print edition.

2004-2006 ê Writings and photography in school newspaper (“A OUTRA MARGEM”)

I had a very active role as a writer and as a photographer at the existing paper in my high school. The newspaper had a print edition, and an online version. When I arrived there, the paper had just won a prize in a national competition award for school press, promoted by a daily newspaper.

LANGUAGE SKILLS PORTUGUESE: Native language. I’m able to handle well with Portugal and Brazil linguistic differences. SPANISH: Proficiency level (spoken, written). Intensive course of 45 hours (final grade: 16/20) ENGLISH: Fluent level (spoken, written). Studied for 6 years, deal with it on a daily basis. FRENCH: Studied 7 years at school. Average level mostly because I don’t practise quite much. CATALAN: Basic “level”, mostly reading comprehension, also oral. No studies. GERMAN: Attended the 1.1 level at Goethe-Institut’s of Lisbon. Final grade: Satisfactory.
