How’re you today? Good I hope. How nice of you to drop by! Whether you’re here because you’re bored and need something to read, or are on a mission to find a like-minded creative; please do read on to know a little more about me, and I will try not to disappoint.

I am 25 years old and I love fashion. I LOVE. FASHION. I am the proud owner of a degree in Fashion Design from the London College of Fashion and another degree in Visual Communication from the London College of Communication. Having said that fashion is my love (and possibly my first love), my little detour into graphics has really opened my eyes and broadened my mind. Needless to say I used it to boost what I have already, and weedled my way back into fashion after a year of visual grammar and editorial layouts.

However, fashion is not my only love in life. I am made of many and few things. The correct description goes something like this: an avid fashionista and part-time bookworm who gets a kick from being an amateur foodie and semi-talented netball player. My life is a whirlwind of wonderful people and memorable places. In my life so far, I have moved from the UK to Hong Kong and back to the UK again; I see both of them as home and a frequent holiday destination. Having been in both the East and the West for significant amounts of time, culture shock no longer applies. I am passionate about them both - if not wanting them to merge more in my everyday life. My early childhood saw me in a multicultural environment that bloomed into something that I embraced later on. Boarding school was no different, which I will aptly dub the best years of my teenage life.

My education in the creative field of fashion has enabled me to gain skills that I only ever dreamt of learning as a child. From working with many different people and environments, I have learnt from a long list of talented and exciting personalities to whom I am eternally grateful for the chances they gave me, and if anything for the big and small deep ends they pushed me into to make me who I am today.

Gaining skills in photography and styling along the way, I feel like these skills are ones that can be advantageous to anyone I work for, as they all contribute to training a good eye. I have an open and easy-going personality, which makes me a friendly yet efficient person to work with, and I have excellent interpersonal skills. I also have a strong sense of priority and the ability to multitastk - a skill which I have demonstrated and bettered in my various work experiences. I believe there is no job or task too small, and would complete a ‘grande no foam semi-skimmed extra-hot latte macchiato’ the same way I would handle a final production manifesto - to the best of my ability. After all, the perfect coffee will and can make a difference.

I hope my drive and passion is something that appeals to you and makes you want to know more about me and what I have to offer. Thank you for the time and effort you took to read this and I look forward to hearing from you. And of course - I hope you enjoy the rest of your day. I also hope very much that if you were here because you were bored - that you are not, anymore.

Yours sincerely,

Cynthia
