PersonCentered Expressive Arts Training
The PersonCentered Expressive Arts Institute offers a twoyear PCEAT Certificate trainingprogram in collaboration with Meridian University. This experiential training is unique because itcombines the personcentered theory, practice and philosophy of Carl Rogers with the expressivearts: Movement, Sound, Visual Art, Writing, and Drama. On completion students will receive acertificate from the PersonCentered Expressive Arts Institute.
Participants from around the world come to the program for many reasons—to use the expressivearts in counseling, teaching, mediation, social change, and group facilitation, and/or to awakenpersonal growth and creativity. The program is also ideal for people who are at a crossroads, those wanting to connect with their own authenticity and work through issues using expressivearts methods in a safe and, nonjudgmental setting.
The training is open to both Meridian and nonMeridian students. No art training is required, justan open mind and the desire to explore the magic of the expressive arts.
Enrollment is now open for our 2017/2019 program which begins in August 2017. The deadline toapply is June 30, 2017.
