Class 1.5 and Class 1.4 are transported together, use Class 1.5 placards. 2 2 2 2 The Oxidizing Gas placard must be displayed for the following UN numbers: UN1072 OXYGEN, COMPRESSED UN1073 OXYGEN, REFRIGERATED LIQUID UN3156 COMPRESSED GAS, OXIDIZING, N.O.S. UN3157 LIQUEFIED GAS, OXIDIZING, N.O.S. 2 Subsidiary class (1) Subsidiary class (4.3) Subsidiary class (6.1), PG I, Inhalation toxicity UN2977 or UN2978 Radioactive Material, Uranium Hexafluoride In addition to the Canadian placards, Poison Gas (Class 2.3) or Poison Inhalation Hazard (Class 6.1) placards are required on dangerous goods that meet the definition of “materials toxic by inhalation” in 49 CFR when transported into the United States. The Marine Pollutant Mark is required for dangerous goods that are marine pollutants transported by ship, (other than roll-on roll-off ship and short run ferry) except if they: - Do not contain Class 1 (other than 1.4), 5.2, 6.1 or 7; AND i) Are in a large means of containment with a capacity less than or equal to 500 kg AND are transported between two points in Canada; - OR - ii) Are in a small means of containment with quantities less than or equal to 500 mL or 500 g for severe marine pollutants or less than or equal to 5 L or 5 kg for marine pollutants. The Elevated Temperature Sign is required in addition to the primary class placard for the following products: UN3256 ELEVATED TEMPERATURE LIQUID, FLAMMABLE, N.O.S. UN3257 ELEVATED TEMPERATURE LIQUID, N.O.S. UN3258 ELEVATED TEMPERATURE SOLID, N.O.S.
