As an accredited Association Management Company, CMG utilizes policies, procedures, and comprehensive quality control systems for all clients that comply with an AMC Institute-defined set of Best Practices. The AMC Institute audited and accredited CMG in 2008, 2012, and 2016 for complying with their best practices.

We believe that it is the personal commitment of our staff that distinguishes CMG among our colleagues in the industry. Each CMG staff member plays an important role in support of our clients. Regular staff meetings are held to ensure that all staff members are familiar with the current affairs of each client and are capable of responding accurately and completely to inquiries from constituents.

CMG staff maintains membership in relevant association management professional societies, including the American Society of Association Executives, AMC Institute, Global Network of Association Management, Professional Convention Management Association, Institute for Credentialing Excellence, the International Association for Continuing Education and Training, and the International iMIS Users Group. CMG is also a corporate member of the Center for Nonprofit Excellence, a local network of nonprofit organizations in Charlottesville, VA. These memberships ensure staff remains current with best business practices for managing nonprofit societies.
