Sublimation Process: The basic dye sublimation process uses special heat-sensitive dyes to print graphics, text and virtually any image onto special transfer paper. The paper is then placed on the pre-cut fabric pattern and both are placed into a heat press. Dye sublimation is always done on a polyester, polymer, or polymer-coated item, in the case of team uniforms 100% polyester garments. At high temperature, the solid dye vaporizes into a gas without ever becoming a liquid. The same high temperature opens the pores of the polyester fabric and allows the dye vapor to enter. When the temperature cools, the pores close and the gas reverts to a solid state trapping the dye into the fiber of the fabric. It has now become a permanent part of the fabric. This is why dye sublimation can’t be done on natural materials, such as 100% cotton. Natural fibers and non-coated materials which have no "pores" to open cannot accept the gas vapor. The dye particles are designed to bond with polyester, and ignore everything else. It is like trying to mix oil and water with most natural materials. Sublimation will never fade, crack or peel.

Embriodery: The embroidery process begins with an idea or a piece of artwork. That artwork then has to be "digitized" which is the specialized process of converting two dimensional artwork into stitches or thread. The digitizing computer software will allow numerous machines to embroider (stitch) the logo/design repetitively onto the various garments. The embroidery digitizing, is normally a one-time process. It requires relatively clean artwork as a starting point. The machine itself is programmed by the operator to sew the design in a particular color sequence and a particular sewing speed. The garments must then be "hooped" individually, again by hand, and then loaded into the machine. Once the design has completed sewing, the garment is taken off the machine, un-hooped, and then sent to the next step in the production process. WE USE TACKLE TWILL FOR ALL NUMBER EMBROIDERY!

Custom Uniforms: Whether this is your first time designing and ordering team uniforms or if you have prior experience, this design guide will make the process easier, especially if this is a collaborative effort. You can save this PDF on your Iphone to Ibooks so it's always with you and easy to share. Before we get into the step by step process of uniform design we’ll start by providing some important information to help you make an informed decsicion for your team or club.

Material(s): The material used will effect how comfortable your players are when they’re competing. The fabric material also plays a crucial role in the longevity of the uniforms which ultimately will affect the frequency with which each customer orders. Wicking fabrics are modern technical fabrics which draw moisture away from the body. They are made of high-tech polyester, which, unlike cotton, absorbs very little water. Cotton will absorb 7% of its weight in water, polyester only 0.4%. Cotton will therefore hang onto your sweat, making your garment heavy and unpleasantly clammy. Wicking polyester has a special cross-section and a large surface area, which picks up moisture and carries it away from your body, spreading it out, to evaporate easily on the outside of the fabric. So you stay cool and dry.

Design: In the past customization was usually done by applying decal design elements to the material using heat. However this process limits the type of designs you can execute as well as issues with decals peeling off or cracking over. Today, the most common methods used for custom uniforms is embroidery and sublimation.

Step 1: Pick Team Colors: If you are starting from scratch, start with picking your team’s colors. Most jersey patterns have 3-4 colors in varying amounts.

Primary Color:. This is the dominant color in the pattern.

- Secondary Color: Not as prominent on the uniform as the primary color used on your uniform. The secondary color provides the perfect compliment to the primary color. You choose and we manufacture!

- Accent color: Pick any accent color that fits your team or club!

Please Note: Not all color shades are created equal. Sublimation utilizes dyes and no manufacturer stocks an unlimited amount of dye in every possible shade of color. This is also true regarding the primary color of fabric used on your jersey. While it is possible for Snyper Sports to produce uniforms in any shade of color(s) that the customer desires, unique or rare colors, particularly on low volume orders will affect the price. The color chart below are our standard color shades and will assure the best price possible on your order regardless of the volume.

Step 2: Pick your Jersey pattern: Please note that ALL JERSEY PATTERNS ALL AVAILABLE! You pick the design and we manufacture it!

Step 3: Choose graphics: -Submit any graphics that will be used on your uniform to us in an AI, EPS, JPG, PDF form.

Step 4: Pick Pants color(s) & pattern: -Use the jersey and to accent the jersey design and complete a balanced uniform design. ALL PATTERNS AND STYLES AVAILABLE!
