• How does it work?

On the next page you will find a list of the build kits that we offer, we can custom build to any specification but we feel these kits give the best performance with ultimate value. They are broken down into 3 Levels, starter – excellent value pack designed to maximize the custom build experience with out breaking the bank, Ultimate build – designed to give the highest performance with the best value for money, and Dream – The highest specification to make your cycling dreams come true, balancing ultimate performance at a great price. In both Ultimate and Dream we have both aero and disc option for which ever suits your desired discipline. Choose which build kit best suits your needs.

As you flick through the brochure the frames are categorized by brand and each individual model is given a 2 page spread. The first page is dedicated to information about the frame and the prices of different builds. The second page is given over to a geometry chart and further technical info on the frames. Once you choose the frame you want match it to the build kit you chose earlier. You will then have the choice of which groupset is available.

We have options from all the major manufacturers. Shimano, Campagnolo and Sram and at all different levels. Once you have matched the groupset to the frame and the finishing kit you will have your final price. The price includes building and all fitting and offers a fantastic discounted price over buying the bits separately. This price is also available over 24 months 0% finance, with a 25% deposit.

The new standard – Probably the most copied concept in the history of TT/Tri bikes, but never matched in performance. The P3 has

the most wins in pro cycling, and is also most successful frame in Ironman racing (both in wins and bike counts).

Aero headtube - no bulky nose cone, but an extremely thin, aerodynamically optimized shape.

CCS - Constant Cross-section Seattube - The airflow over the seattube is predominantly horizontal. The new seattube shape has a

cross section shape that is separately optimized everywhere between bottom bracket and the seatstay joint.

IAA seatpost – Cervélo’s Integrated Accessory Attachment allows you to securely attach a behind-the-seat carriage system – no

need to clamp anything to the saddle or around the seatpost. Several manufacturers make components to fit the IAA system.

Integrated Seattube collar – Invisible to the airflow, while still allowing the seatmast to be removed, this design is both the most

aero and allows for easy traveling and adjustment.

ICS Internal CableStops - Cervélo’s standard setting cable routing system. Easy to install, easy to service, easy to keep clean and

improved aerodynamics.

UCI legal - As with all our frames, the P3 is UCI legal.

bracket very easily in its standard set-up, making it easy to find a fast and

comfortable position.

Constant width seattube cutout – Most cutouts in aero seattubes vary in width as you move up and down. This is not ideal with a

tire behind it that has a constant shape. The P2 cutout has a constant width that carefully matches the following tire, thereby

greatly improving aerodynamics.

The aero profiles of the P4’s tubes are

completely new, improving airflow

attachment and reducing turbulence

relative to other designs. In addition, the

new asymmetric aero chain stays generate

very low drag values, particularly in cross-

wind environments, compared with chain

stay designs from earlier P-series and

competitor models. Finally, the seat stays

are pitched forward to reduce frontal

surface area and their joints with the seat

tube are optimized for maximum

aerodynamic efficiency.

The P4 is the eagerly anticipated successor to the current time trial standard, the Cervélo P3. As the P3 is still the fastest bike

available three years after its introduction, it is clear that creating its successor was no easy task. After millions in research &

development and over two months of intensive testing at the San Diego Low Speed Wind Tunnel, the P4 is the fastest bike ever in

the wind tunnel, including both UCI-legal and illegal bikes.

“The P4 is the biggest leap we have ever made in aero bike technology,” said Phil White, co-founder of Cervélo. “The P series has

evolved significantly over the last decade, making it a real challenge to keep finding improvements. With the P4, the mandate was

to make it significantly faster than the P3 while achieving equivalent or better performance relative to stiffness, power

transmission, low weight and comfort. I’m pleased to report that we have met those goals.”

The strengths of the P4 are found in its many fine details, some of which are quite visible but others are difficult to detect at first

glance. The key to the performance of the P4 lies in the frameset’s integrated design. This System Engineering approach, which

considers the frame, components, wheels, hydration and the rider together, generates substantially reduced drag values in virtual

(CFD) and physical wind tunnel testing. Highlights of the P4 system include:

Monocoque frame constructed from high performance T700 carbon fibre. Highly aerodynamic tube shapes

and structure - wind tunnel proven to be one of the fastest bikes in the peleton. Rear triangle is aero-

profiled and sculpted to follow the rear wheel shape - very close fitting, but designed to accept wheel

changes without deflating the tyre or resorting to horizontal dropouts.

The Ora features a twin position seatpost, allowing for a choice of seat angles from a conventioanl 73

degrees through to 80 degrees. Combined with a low headtube on the Carbon Crono SL fork, this enables

All our prices (from the 1st December 2008) include VAT @ 15%. The Price also

includes all fitting, building and first service after 6 weeks. A initial

consultation is available to book and is included with purchase of any custom

build bike.
