"As an artist, I explore and filter reality

through the creation of new ways of conceiving

conceptual image using a hybrid configuration

with pseudo-abstraction."

As a person, I conceive life as an interaction

of experience, the positive significance

of the day and the momentum / intention /

motivation to improve my relationships

with everyone."

>My Works ...

Beyond conventional representation, where reading and perception codes are wholly shared by

artist and spectator, there is an unexplored territory that stretches between direct reading and the

limits of understanding.

On the piece’s two-dimensional platform that search is undertaken: the re-interpretation of reality

on the basis of volume sensations and iconological elements that arise from a single skin, a

primitive substance: the stain.

That’s the genesis: the analysis of non-finite, of abstraction and texture in order to clear a

thousand paths of dialogue with the observer that run and get lost without reaching any named

place. Accomplishing those encounters and departures is the goal of creators of void.

On that twinning I base the logic of my existence.

Aprendió a

a curvas topográficas.

Carlos Corres was born on April 29, 1973 in Bilbao and since then has not lost the ability to play,

curiosity and research with which we are all born but only a few manage to keep intact until

adulthood. Even as a kid had contact with art. On the one hand, painted nonstop. His father, an

engineer who drew with pen and "rotring", took work home and he, like any child, trying to imitate

him. On the other side was formed at the conservatory, he studied music theory and played the

piano. He learned to understand music and to love her until 18 years’ scores notes came to life and

became drawings before his eyes. Carlos squinted to get them to stay still and be able to continue

playing, but this did not happen. So was his piano teacher who gave him the push he needed to leave

the piano, go to Salamanca and start the career of Fine Arts. Since then he has not stopped painting

but always surrounded by world music. See the workshop is Corres see him inside and talk to him is

an injection of positive energy and creativity. His sweet and mischievous look facilitates

understanding of a lot of ideas that are around your head and constantly interconnects in his speech,

stated in their projects and plasma in his paintings. That is why so Corres is a versatile and tireless

artist. His studio is full of paints, pencils, markers, inks, pigments, brackets, plastic, paper, wood,

fabric, brushes, spatulas .... With all these variables and using your computer experiences, plays,

designs and builds to reach a huge range of results that we are more than the mix of experiences

which absorbing sponge while walking through life.

Sometimes Carlos draws without thinking what dictates his hand, broods and delves into their ideas

as abstract lines are appearing on paper. Lines reminiscent of the maps that likes so much, to aerial

images of walled towns or topographical curves. Other times it faces the blank canvas that spot

colors to create a skin that appear on forms that are interconnected to create metaphors that speak

of concepts. Others take the computer and creates a picture that later will be reflected on the wall of

a building for all to enjoy. But in all cases the creation process begins the same way. You run enters

his studio, he puts a music according to what you will do and let it wrap for her. The sensations

appear and start playing with colors fleeing the paper, which like silence is afraid. From there

everything flows and goes from Carlos Corres (painter) to be Globartia (murals) or Food Painting®

(art and gastronomy) with ease and an astonishing result and especially exciting. Artist, teacher,

traveler, engine restless and always interesting projects, Corres gets involved with PeepArtProject

and stop snooping by our team for a while.
