15. Other relevant information:I have worked in the Highways, Bridges, Project Engineering, Safety and Transport Resource areas during my career at the Transport Research Laboratory. I have been awarded a British Technology Group Civil Engineering prize for the development of structural protection systems and have been involved in the development of innovative systems for road profilometry, corrosion monitoring and traffic data collection. I have been involved with road safety for the past 20 years and am a leading UK expert on automated speed enforcement systems and received the 1999 Prince Michael Road Safety award for work on interactive signs. I have worked for the EU on the PHARE multi-country road safety programme conducting evaluations in Eastern Europe and writing the project documentation. I currently undertake part time consultancy for the Global Road Safety Partnership (World Bank/Aid for Business Development) as Senior Advisor to the Republic of Ghana, also developing an NGO based road safety organisation. In the Republic of Namibia.
