Biosketch Dr. J. Wanyoike-Gichuhi is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Obstetric and Gynaecology faculty of medicine, college of health sciences (Kenyatta National Hospital), University of Nairobi. He is a consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist and Medical Practitioners &Dentist Board recognized sub specialist in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. He is involved in training of both undergraduate and postgraduate students in medicine and has supervised postgraduate students thesis / dissertations. His qualifications are Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB), Masters in Medicine in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (MMed. Obs/Gyn), from the University of Nairobi and Masters in Clinical Embryology (MSc) from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom, Diploma in infertility and from the International school of medicine (Kiel – Goettingen - Munich) Germany at the Department Obstetric and Gynaecology, Campus Kiel, University Hospital Schleswig – Hostein, Germany and Certificate in Infertility from the University of Tel Aviv, Israel. He has also had comprehensive training in Gynaecological endoscopic from Institute of European Telesurgery, University of Strasbourg, France and Galaxy institute, Pune, India. He provides clinical services in the largest public teaching & referral hospital in Kenya, Kenyatta National Hospital and is in Charge of the Infertility and Gynaecological Endoscopic training programs at the University of Nairobi, Kenya.
