Teaching Activity

At Newcastle I have held a full and varied teaching portfolio and have delivered at both UG and PG

level. In addition to module delivery, I have also led and/or been involved with a number of strategic

curriculum development initiatives.

Curriculum Development

1. BSc. (hons) Marketing

Led the redevelopment of the BSc. (hons) Marketing programme in 01/02. This revised programme was

launched in 2002 and successfully continues under the management of Newcastle University Business

School.

2. Development of New BSc. (hons) Food Marketing & Nutrition

Led the development of a new applied degree programme BSc. (hons) Food Marketing and Nutrition.

The programme was launched in Sept 2012.

3. MSc. Advanced Food Marketing

Supported in the development of the new MSc. Advanced Food Marketing. This programme was

launched in Sept 2010.

4. BSc. (hons) Food and Human Nutrition (Singapore

Supported in the development of the new Singapore based BSc. (hons) Food & Human Nutrition. This

programme was launched in Sept 2011.
