I consider myself to be an open minded, resourceful person with a good sense of humour, coupled with the

ability to communicate both diplomatically and comfortably at all levels, within many diverse and different

cultures. I have in excess of 20 years’ experience in various aspects of health, safety and environment

management, primarily within the oil and gas industry for EPC (turnkey) contractor(s) and international

client(s) and operators.

I have assisted in the development and implementation of complete, integrated QHSE Management

Systems. These systems have been audited and accredited by the British Standards Institute to ISO

9001:2000, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.

I have also successfully helped a number of companies attain the British Safety Council’s National Safety

Award.

HSE Engineer UZ 750 Project comprises of four new artificial islands (Central Island, North Island, South Island and West Island) which are under construction. Each Island will host new facilities mainly comprising Drilling Area, Processing Area, Utilities Area, Accommodation & Non-process Facilities Area and Harbour Area. Contracted by the client to coordinate and oversee the HSE effort, offshore on an artificial island, with responsibility for ensuring legislative and contractual Health, Safety and Environmental obligations are met (and systems implemented) and overseeing project works (civils, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning and production) in the field. Duties include but are not limited to:
