March-Sept. 2007: An invited speaker of a radio section “Talk on Children’s Education”, a part of

Home, Sweet Home, a daily radio program produced by a Korean radio station

Radio Seoul in Los Angeles (AM 1650 Hz), which airs across America including

Hawaii. The program airs for two hours every day except for Sunday (at 10am-noon

in Pacific Time). I talked about the importance of Korean language and education,

some current research on language acquisition, and pronunciation differences

between English and Korean. The section was 20 minutes long, 10am-10:20am, live

(pre-recorded two times due to my travel) and aired on every other Thursday for 6

months from Mach 22 to September 27, 2007.

Jan. 23, 2000 Lecture on “Similarities and Differences between English and Korean sounds” for

teachers at Basil Korean School, in Los Angeles.
