. I am currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, University of Nairobi and a Specialist Obstetrician Gynaecologist, Kenyatta National Hospital Nairobi, Kenya. I hold a Master’s Degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Postgraduate Diploma in Biomedical Research Methodology, Postgraduate Diploma in International Maternal Health Care and Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery Degree. Hospital for one year and was commended by the hospital CEO successfully coordinating the clinical services in reproductive health unit during a strike, 4) currently a member of the Multidisciplinary Skills Lab coordinating committee representing School of Medicine, College of Health Sciences, University of Nairobi. The skills Lab is an innovation in clinical skills training where the use of humanistic models is used to acquire skills before students handle the patients. The innovation has worked well considering the large number of students admitted to undergraduate and postgraduate program in the college of Health Science 5) I am the department Coordinator for Emergency Obstetric and Newborn Care training, and 5) currently coordinate two MMED part one Postgraduate Students modules: HOG 705-Emergency and critical care in reproductive health and HOG:712- Population dynamics, family planning, contraception and well woman care. I was appointed external examiner for the Department of Reproductive Health, Moi University for 3 academic years from 2013/2014 to 2015/2016. Have been Chairperson for the Gynaecology Oncology Fellowship Curriculum development Committee in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, college of Health Sciences, University of Nairobi. I have a total of 18 publications in refereed journals and 8 oral conference abstracts. Four manuscript are currently under preparation. I have been involved in five collaborative projects.

I am registered by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentist Board (KMPDB) as specialist Obstetrician and Gynecologist.
