Prepare Monthly trial balance and financial statements. Prepare Monthly and Quarterly Reports to Bank of Ghana. Prepare Monthly Bank Reconciliation Statements Establish, maintain and coordinate the implementation of Accounting
internal control procedure Analyse revenue and expenditure trends and recommend appropriate
budget levels and ensure expenditure control. Review cash balances and ensure that funds are banked in
appropriate accounts to optimize efficiency and returns on short terms funds.
Input and handling of financial data into accounting software. Write and maintain written procedures for inclusion in the procedures
concerning all aspect of the treasury. Responsible for the management of tax issues SSNIT, PAYE.
Withholding Tax. Ensuring that staff SSF contributions and other statutory returns are
filed promptly and correctly. Responsible for the preparation of Cheques and the writing of Bank
payment vouchers. Ensuring that all payments are made on time and recorded
appropriately. Keeping in touch with professional bodies and ensuring ongoing
technical surveys regarding evolution of accounting standards or requirements.
Participate in planning meeting with external Auditors.
