Short History

2000 - Matriculated from highschool to study at SA PRINTECH/CROSS MEDIA in Electronic Origination/Graphic Design. I studied Freehand, Photoshop, Illustrator & QuarkExpress amongstphoto litho stripping in single & 4 colour artwork and platemaking, business, basic law,

typography, design & layout and communications.

2002 - Graduated from SA PRINTECH/CROSS MEDIA (MAPPPSETA) with diplomas in Electronic Origination/Graphic Design at the highest level achievable in the institution

by excelling in every theoretical and practical module assigned.

2002 - Employed as a junior designer soon to be leading my department and becoming a Senior Qualified Designer.

Concentrated on designing prints for surfwear amongst other top brands for major retail stores in South Africa.

This included Pep stores, Jet stores, Edgars group and Ackermans.also redrawing or creating graphics for promotional and corporate items.

By this learning a great deal about the industry and other programsnamely Coreldraw amongst others.

Also have attained a vast knowledge of the Silkscreen printing industry from artworkto posies to screens to print and pantone colours aswell as perfecting 12 colour

Simulated Halftone and Index prints (Spot Colour Seperation & CMYK).

Now for the past 14 years designing and 10 of which until nowLEADING MY DEPARTMENT/STUDIO

whilst running Production throughout the companyand THRIVING ON

the creativity and challenges Due

to my design criteria always changing and always learning new thingsand ADDING TO my design ability everyday.

I’m ambitious, dedicated and determined and I believe anything can be achieved with a positive attitude and good old fashioned hard work!. I’m really passionate about design, I like to

consider it a lifestyle, my lifestyle. Where it plays a part in every aspect of what you see and think. Producing something that captures the viewers attention and imagination and portraying

the message, brings me the ultimate bliss. I enjoy trying to bring something fresh to the design world all the time. I’m constantly improving and developing my skills and abilities.

I can confidently say that I'm not afraid to set the highest goals and certainly not intimidated by harsh deadlines and a stressful work environment instead I thrive off it,

pushing myself and team beyond creative imagination with perfection and attention to detail.By doing all this as an experienced, creative designer myself and strong leader

to produce an end product beyond customer expectations. Truth is for me nothing is better than a very productive day filled with original creativity and stunned clients

by my talent, skills and zest for design and service.
