Classroom Behavior Management

– Our classroom has a number coded chart with clips for each student. This numbered chart is a FLUID chart, meaning that your child CAN recover from a poor behavior/work habit choice at any given point during the instructional day.

– Each child begins the day on the number “3”, which means that your child is demonstrating expected behavior/work habits choices. Each student has the opportunity to move up to “4” for exceeding expectations, and can go as high as “5” for exceptional behavior and work habit choices during the day. When a rule is broken, the student will move his/her clip. Each number has a corresponding consequence:

Each day your child’s behavior “number” will be recorded in his/her agenda.

Please initial your child’s agenda each day.
