GRADINGMedicalStudentsaregradedusingthefollowingscale:Honors(H),Pass(P),Fail(F)andIncomplete(I).Forfurtherinformation,pleasereviewtheGradingPolicy.
ThestudentwillreceiveagradeofHonors,PassorFail.Thestudent'sfinalgradewillbesubmittedonthestandardUCIrvineform.Thestudentwillbeevaluatedbyattendingandresidentsintheareaofclinicalperformance,clinicalskills,formalpresentation,learningaccomplishments,attendance,attitudeandeffort.Evaluationswillbecompletedbytheattendinginconsultationwithfaculty,residents,andstaffwhointeractedwiththeresident.Ifthestudentfailstheelectiveagradeof"F"willbepermanentlyrecordedonhis/hertranscript.Thestudentcanrepeatthecourseforasecondgrade,however,the"F"willnotberemovedfromthetranscript.
