HOW IT IS MADE

Most electricity is made in Moneypoint power station in Killimer , Co.Clare. It is made from burning coal to heat water into steam to turn turnbines. Most of the electricity is made by the ESB.

WIND FARMS

A new form of electricity is being created by using environmentally friendly wind farms . They need wind to create power.

Electric energy is clean and easy to use. Electricity cannot be stored and must be used the second it is made.
