Technical textiles are textiles

materials and products manufactured

primarily for technical performance

and functional properties rather than

aesthetic characteristics.

Technical Textiles products are

divided into 12 broad categories

(Agrotech, Buildtech, Clothtech,

Geotech, Hometech, Indutech,

Mobiltech, Meditech, Protech,

Sportstech, Oekotech, Packtech)

depending upon their

application areas.

लबल्डटेक, क्लोथेक, लजयोटेक,

ओटेकोट, पैकटेक) िें लवर्ालजत

लकया गया है।

Market share and growth-:

India shares nearly 6% of world market size of

250 Billion USD. However, the annual average

growth of the segment is 12%, as compared to

4% world average growth.

Penetration level of technical textiles is low in

India at 5-10%, against 30-70% in advanced

countries. The Mission aims at improving

penetration level of technical textiles in the

country.

र्ारत दुलनया के 250 लबललयन अिरीकी

िॉलर के बाजार के आकार का लगर्ग

6% साझा करता है। हालांलक, 4% लवि

औसत वृद्धि की तुलना िें खंि की

वालषभक औसत वृद्धि 12% है।

उन्नत देशो ं िें 30-70% के िुकाबले र्ारत

िें 5-10% पर तकनीकी वस्त्ों का प्रवेश

तकनीकी वस्त्ों के प्रवेश स्तर िें सुधार

करना है।

(MIEWS) Portal for Monitoring prices of

TOP Crops (Tomato, Onion and Potato) and

generating alerts.

Details-:

This portal is a novel initiative of MoFPI

leveraging IT tools and furthering the

goals of Digital India.

MIEWS system is designed to provide

advisories to farmers to avoid cyclical

production as well as an early warning

in situations of gluts.

For decision makers, the MIEWS system

will help in

monitoring of supply situation for

timely market intervention,

Rakhigarhi, Rakhi Garhi (Rakhi Shahpur

+ Rakhi Khas), is a village in Hisar District

in the state of Haryana in India, situated

150 kilometers to the northwest of

Civilisation settlement going back to

about 6500 BCE.
