Tai chi chuan and qigong are Chinese internal arts focused on generating and channeling internal energy, or qi

(pronounced chee), throughout the body to generate force and promote health. The movements of tai chi and qigongare smooth, steady and circular. Tai chi and qigong students are trained in breathing exercised, fluidity drills and qi-building exercises.
