Faculty Development Goals
broaden and expand pedagogically sound use of technology for teaching and learning beyond segment of “pioneers”
provide opportunities for faculty from all disciplines and at all technical skill levels
encourage faculty to share their knowledge and become mentors (snowball effect)
develop a sustainable model serving a large number
of faculty with limited staff

General Strategy
bring support and advice “close to home”
combine technical and pedagogical advice

provide adequate hardware and software for office and home
provide reliable infrastructure (starting with Blackboard)
