Good afternoon and I’d like to welcome the Clydebank
management, players, committee and supporters to Townhead
Park for Today’s Premiership league game.
Clydebank are a very good side with some talented players in their
ranks. Some of my former players are there such as Nicky Little,
captain Jamie Darroch, Liam Rowan, Derek Hepburn and Paul
Byrne, so I know their capabilities and we need to ensure they
don’t excel on the day.
I would like to say a big thanks to everyone associated with
Cumnock Juniors F.C for the warm welcome over the past week –
It has been much appreciated. I am really delighted to be here and
hope to have a long period at the club trying to improve the players
and team, as well as provide the club with much-needed stability
moving forward.
Welcome to Townhead Park
The Manager’s Preview
www.cumnockjuniors.com
Looking back to last week’s game, I was really delighted for the
players getting a great win away at the league’s in-form team,
Rossvale. The players responded brilliantly and in a very positive
way throughout the game. They took the game to Rossvale from
the off, playing on the front-foot and deservedly took all 3 points.
Within the game, we had some good spells of play but we need to
learn fast to see games out easier than we did. We have a relatively
young side so they will learn and I hope to impart my knowledge
and experience to the players over the coming weeks and games.
We had some excellent individual performances on the day but the
most important thing was the boys played well as a team, worked
hard, stayed organised and carried a threat throughout the game,
so that was very pleasing.
In short, we now have a 15-game season and it is imperative to try
and win as many points between now and the end of the season.
Being in the Premiership is a must for Cumnock as this allows us to
attract and retain our best players, now and in the future.
For Cumnock to improve and progress as a club, we need
everyone to back the team and support the players.
Enjoy the game #ATNTony

Rossvale 2 – 3 CumnockCumnock got off to a flier in new Boss Tony McInally’s first game in charge. Theyended in-form Rossvale’s tremendous 7 game winning run in Govan. The visitors put ina very organised and disciplined performance much to the delight of the travellingsupporters. Cumnock started brightly with most of the efforts being made on theRossvale goal, with Owen Bell and Craig McLeish coming close for Cumnock. McLeishthen had to be alert to clear off the line at the other end. Cumnock took the leadwhen Caddis made a cross-field pass to Campbell who fired back across goal and GregFerry ghosted in unmarked at the far post to stroke home. Rossvale came close acouple of times but nothing to worry keeper Ally Semple who was having a fine game.
Half time: 0 - 1
In an entertaining match there was some good one-touch football being played, particularly by Rossvale, but they weren't offering much in the final third. Cumnockdoubled their lead when Semple cleared upfield and the impressive Ryan Caddis took agreat touch and went beyond his marker and smashed an unstoppable shot pastDonnelly. Chris Campbell then saw a terrific delicate chip come back off the crossbarbefore Liam McGonigle gave Rossvale a lifeline with 2 minutes remaining, shootinginto the bottom corner from distance. Iain Anderson looked to have sealed it forCumnock straight from the kick off, beating 3 defenders before slotting home for agreat solo goal. Joe Slattery gave Rossvale a consolation goal with almost the last kickof the ball.

ONE TO WATCH
Nicky Little
Striker Nicky Little has scored 80 goals for his club so the home defence will have to be resolute if they are to prevent him from
scoring today.
Clydebank’s Latest ResultKilwinning 2 – 1 Clydebank

Clydebank 3 – 2 Cumnock
Clydebank manager Gordon Moffat (left) was frustrated to leave
Kilwinning empty-handed last Saturday, after his side fell to a 2-1
loss.
Del Hepburn cancelled out Alex McWaters’ opening goal, but a Carlo Monti wonder-strike seven minutes from time saw Bankies leave North
Ayrshire with nothing.
Clydebank currently occupy 7th place in the league with 4 points more than Cumnock after 15 matches
played. Nickname

Which footballer do you idolise and why?I loved loads of players growing up. Thierry Henry, Paolo Di Canio, Zidane…..But my favourite would probably be Ronaldino; he was unreal. I had the joy of watching my brother play against him in the last 16 of the Champions League for Celtic.
