Perfect Ed Sheeran
I found a love for meDarling, just dive right in and follow my leadWell, I found a girl, beautiful and sweetOh, I never knew you were the some-one waiting for me’Cause we were just kids when we fell in loveNot knowing what it wasI will not give you up this timeBut darling, just kiss me slow, your heart is all I ownAnd in your eyes you’re holding mineBaby, I’m dancing in the dark with you between my armsBarefoot on the grass, listening to our favorite songWhen you said you looked a mess, I whispered underneath my breathBut you heard it, darling, you look perfect tonight
Well I found a woman, stronger than anyone I knowShe shares my dreams, I hope that someday I’ll share her homeI found a love, to carry more than just my secretsTo carry love, to carry children of our ownWe are still kids, but we’re so in loveFighting against all oddsI know we’ll be alright this timeDarling, just hold my handBe my girl, I’ll be your manI see my future in your eyesBaby, I’m danc-ing in the dark, with you between my armsBarefoot on the grass, lis-tening to our favorite songWhen you saw you in that dress, looking so beautifulI don’t deserve this, darling, you look perfect tonight
Baby, I’m dancing in the dark, with you between my armsBarefoot in the grass, listening to our favorite songI have faith in what I seeNow I know I have met an angel in personAnd she looks perfect, no I don’t deserve thisYou look perfect tonight
Review“Perfect” is a romantic ballad English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran wrote about his girlfriend Cherry Seaborn, which Sheeran said he hoped would become another one of his defi ning songs and, according to the BBC, is “guaranteed to soundtrack thousands of fi rst dances before the year is out.”

Under the Banner of Heaven: A Story of Violent Faith《以天之名:借信念之名肆虐的暴力》
In 1984, Ron and Dan Lafferty mur-dered the wife and infant daughter of their younger brother Allen. The crimes were noteworthy not merely for their brutality* but for the broth-ers’ claim* that they were acting on direct orders from God. In “Under the Banner of Heaven,” Jon Krakauer tells the story of the killers and their crime and also explores the shadowy* world of Mormon fundamentalism from which the two emerged.
The Mormon Church was founded, in part, on the idea that true believ-ers could speak directly with God. But while the mainstream church attempted to be more palatable* to the general public by rejecting the
controversial tenet* of polygamy*, fundamentalist splinter groups saw this as apostasy* and took to the hills to live what they believed to be a righteous life.
When their beliefs are challenged or their cult-like order defi ed, these still-active groups, according to Krakauer, are capable of fi ghting back with tremendous violence.
While Krakauer’s research into the history of the church is admira-bly extensive, the real power of the book comes from present-day infor-mation, notably jailhouse interviews with Dan Lafferty. Far from being the brooding maniac* one might expect, Lafferty is coherent*, still insisting
that his motive was merely to obey God’s command.
Krakauer’s accounts of the mur-ders are disturbing, but such detail makes the brothers’ claim of divine instruction all the more horrifying.
The book is available at online bookstores like jd.com.

When Kate Winslet and Idris Elba play two strangers whose plane crashes in the middle of the Rockies, there’s one of two things that can happen: Either they’ll run out of food and wind up fi ghting each other, or they’ll fi nd some creative ways to keep warm.
Adapted from the book by Charles Martin, the fi lm marks the Hollywood debut of Palestinian director Hany Abu-Assad.
Winslet stars as Alex and Elba as Ben. She’s a brave photojournal-ist who’s not afraid to take a few plunges in life, while he’s a British neurosurgeon* based in Baltimore. When the two meet at Salt Lake City airport after their fl ight is canceled, they charter* a plane together so that Alex can make it to her own wedding and Ben can attend an important conference. It seems like a good idea for about two minutes until their pilot (Beau Bridges) drives them into a storm and then suffers what seems to be a stroke*.
Down they go, crash-landing atop a range of snowy peaks with only a few packs of almonds and a dog that some-how survives along with them. Alex broke her leg, but luckily the surgeon
is able to fi x it and also has the fi rst-aid kit* at hand to do so. By the time Alex recovers, they’re running out of food and need to make a decision: Do they wait for a search party or venture* out into the wilderness?
The script by Chris Weitz and J. Mills Goodloe smoothly jumps from one obstacle* to the next as the two are brought closer and closer together, cuddling up for support, especially when it seems like they’ll never make it out. Every so often, usually when things are just starting to look up*,
the writers throw in a major monkey wrench* to up the stakes, with each hurdle helping to solder the would-be couple’s affection.
The two actors easily incarnate* a pair of clever, extremely likeable characters who both deserve to sur-vive and deserve each other.
Cinematographer Mandy Walker captures the breathtaking settings (the fi lm was shot in Canada) with widescreen compositions that plunge us into the middle of an endless snowy paradise. (SD-Agencies)
