This Pilot Project is bringing together students of diverse cultural and faith backgrounds with the objective of expanding the successful Klein Forest High School PISA Culture Shock Charity Show concept to raise the funds needed to help empower twenty-one (21) women, five (5) refugee women in Houston and sixteen (16) rural women in Pakistan, kick start their honey producing micro-enterprises. Your humanitarian and entrepreneurial efforts will enable these women to earn an income, become self-sufficient, improve the quality of life for their families and educate their children though the sale of honey, both locally and globally.The students are the social entrepreneurs that will help raise the funds needed to invest in these honey producing micro-enterprises through the Culture Shock Charity Ticket sales, T-Shirts sales, Food sales, Bee Honey tastings, and other activities.This proposal has two objectives inter-related objectives designed to benefit, both students and underprivileged women. It is a win-win situation!!!
