JORDANIn the desert kingdom of Jordan, explore the stark landscapes surrounding the enigmatic Lost City of Petra and take a healing dip in the salty waters of the Dead Sea.

HIGHLIGHTSBoard helicopters and fly south to the site of what was once one of the richest cities in the world: the Lost City of Petra. Half-built, half-carved into rose-red cliffs more than 2,000 years ago, Petra became fabulously wealthy from the trading caravans that crossed the desert. Enter through the Siq, a narrow chasm and take in the iconic Treasury before exploring the entire site. If you’re feeling adventurous, embark on an 800-step climb to the cliff-top Monastery. The following day, explore the ancient Greco-Roman ruins of historic Jerash with its temples, massive columns and impressive hippodrome, once used for chariot races and gladiator battles. Indulge yourself on a visit to the lowest spot on Earth to float in the buoyant, mineral-rich waters of the Dead Sea.
