BRAZILIAN AIR FORCE CAPTAIN,

AMONG FOUR PILOTS IN MID-AIR ENCOUNTERby Pedro Cid, of Diario llustrado, Rio De Janeiro

Three or four UFOs were involved in a mid-air

encounter with four Brazilian Air Force planes on

September 4, 1957.

The encounter occurred over the Caribbean island

of Granada at 8.21 p.m., according to the witnesses.

There were magnetic effects,making this a CE2.

Captain Lemos Ferreira was leading a

squadron of F-84G airplanes along with three other

pilots, Manuel C.N. Marcelino,Alberto A.P. Covas,

and Salvador A. Oliveira. They were on a training

flight at 25,000 feet when the Captain noticed the

presence of a round light source with unusual

features. All the pilots were surprised by such

brightness, and the fact that its central part changed

colour from green to red.

As they kept flying, they observed the object

changing its shape from circular to oval.At the same

time, it lost brightness and became an object of

larger dimension. Then, another circle appeared to

drop two luminous circles of red light. Suddenly, all

the objects, the oval one followed by four circles of

light, started flying toward the airplanes and at an

incredible speed they passed behind and under them,

confusing the pilots.

The Meteorological Observatory of Coimbra

registered an extraordinary magnetic field fluctuation

at that time..

This article appeared in the November 16,

1957 issue of the newspaper.The reporter was

allowed to interview the pilots by two Generals,

Costa Macedo and Venancio Deslandes.

HUNGARIAN GETS UNUSUAL CHRISTMAS GIFT

The observation of unidentified objects and

unknown phenomena increased in Bekes County in

Hungary in the last six months of 1992.

Mainly, Bekes, a little town, and the nearer places

have become the scene ofthese kinds of sightings. A

series of unexplainable events happened in the

house of Mr. Jozsef Petras, a basket-maker in Bekes

on December 4, 1991. Since then, we were informed

about another surprising event which occurred on

December 26, 1991. The witness or the victim, was

Mr. lstvan Balogh, 21, who was on Christmas holiday

from active duty in Oroshaza as a border guard.

The story really started earlier, on December 13,

1991, when a voice from an unknown source

awakened him. He sat up in his bed, looked around

and sought the speaker, but did not find anything. He

was already inclined to think that he had a day

dream, but the voice, with a mechanical tone, said

three times 'You will meet us'. He was very surprised.

He did not understand who was talking to him. He

was just sure he heard these words, or rather he

thought he heard this message. Probably, the

message was given to him telepathically, this being

the usual form of communication in similar events.

Then the message was repeated for the next 11

nights at the same time and the same form. Balogh

did not speak about what had happened. He thought

nobody would believe him and he did not want to

make himself seem ridiculous. His nights were

terrible and he could scarcely sleep.

The promised meeting was on December 26, 1991.

lsfuan was going to the cinema with his friends and

he got home at 15 minutes after midnight. He

entered the gate. When he reached the terrace of the

house, he suddenly caught sight of an unknown

object over the courtyard at a height of a few meters.

The object was bright, yet gray and disk-shaped. lts

diameter was abut four meters. lts height was about

2.5 meters. At that moment, Balogh lost control

over his will. He felt as though something was forcing

him to go under the UFO.

When he did so, a ray of light with a diameter of

50-60 centimeters descended from the UFO. He

entered the ray and immediately he was inside the

UFO. This unknown vehicle probably consisted of

only one compartment or room. There was a window

with a diameter of about 1.5 meters. He looked out of

this window and he saw his courtyard.

The floor was bright; the walls were gray and

smooth. Two beings were in the room. Their shape

was normal, human-like. They were 120-140

centimeters in height. Their heads and eyes were

large. They had only three fingers on longish hands.

Their dress was black and skin-tight; the uncovered

skin was green. One being was working on the

controls, but the other dealt with lstvan. this being

talked to him in Hungarian (Again, it might have

been through telepathy), but lstvan felt it was in a

normal speaking voice. The stranger told lstvan that

he had been watched forthree years and hewould

be taken away. The being said their trip was 15

million light years long, but the time of this trip was

very short due to a dimension change.

Later, the being emitted a green light onto lstvan's

forehead. Since then he has not remembered

clearly. He has only some fragmentary memory

about travel over the Moon and its craters, from

which light filtered through. Then he saw pyramids in

a view from above. He does not know whetherthese

were terrestrial or extraterrestrial. but he remembers

their positions.

He later found himself two meters from where he

had first encountered the UFO. He was on his knees

leaning over the ground as do Moslems when they

pray. He had a terrible headache. He trembled and

lelt dizzy. His face as distorted and he could not

stand up. lt was 2 a.m. He went back into his house

and told his parents what had happened. The parents

did not see anything. They had slept calmly, but they

noticed their son was in a terrible condition. They did

not doubt the truth of his words. lstvan had to go

back to the barracks but he could not walk. A

physician was called and he was taken by

ambulance. He reported to his superiors what had

happened. Naturally, he was not believed. He

insisted on his story, so he was sent for a medical

examination to the nearest hospital in Gyula, and

then to the Central Hospital of the Ministry of the

Interior in Budapest, specifically to the mental ward.

They thought that if somebody tells this kind of story,

this man must be drunk or a sensation-seeker or

insane. Unfortunately, this is the usual opinion. In

this case, they thought he was insane. But the final

result of his medical differed from their expectations.

lstvan was declared sane. He was discharged from

active service. The official reason given was

unreliability, so he was unfit for further military

service.

Recently, we noticed that several- persons who

have had close encounters had a little piece of

plat inum in their body or bones.

For example, note the following: an old man was

taken away by a UFO. He had a small rod of

platinum in his let thigh. After the close encounter,

several marks consisting of three dots were found in

his thigh above the metal. These marks looked like

his skin had been pressed by fingers. lt is very

interesting because lstvan's arm had also been

broken earlier and he also had a platinum implant.

During the encounter, this rod had already been

removed, but it is possible that certain traces of the

platinum remained in his body.

Summarizing the main characteristics of these

cases, it is possible that metal implants may play a

role. lt is also probable that strange beings are also

interested in materials implanted in the human body

and maybe in medical technology too. I think this is

not surprising. Their activities have shown this strong

Interest . People. plants, animals, technology,

factories, warfare, aerospace technology, - these

fields stand out as the center oftheir interests.

LETTER TO THE EDITOR;

October 30, 1995

Dear Editor,

I havejust purchased the book UFO Experiences in

Canada, and I have something to tell you that might

be of interest. I have always known that we are not

alone, and since I recently saw a program on TV

'Alien Autopsy", I am absolutely sure. I have also

watched the movie based on the Roswell incident.

My experience is not quite as spectacular as those,

but to this day my friend and I believe both saw a

UFO.

It was the summer of 1965, and my friend invited

me to his place for supper. After supper, we went up

to his room to read some books and play some

games. His room faced the road and on the other

side of the road there was a big pasture and the rest

was thick woods as far as the eye could see. That

particular evening he had a telescope setup on a

stand in front of his window for the purpose of

looking at birds in the trees across the road, This

evening, though, we noticed something strange in the

night sky parallel to the tree tops. lt was l ike a star

had moved out of position in the sky and fell to the

trees, and just stopped. At f irst, we actually though it

was a fall ing star and were waiting for it to fade. lt

did not fade at all.

It came to an abrupt stop right above the tree l ine.

His telescope was only a toy one and we could not

get it in any closer. What we saw was a round white

dot with an orangy - red ring in the middle of it. l t

stayed there above the trees for a good three to four

minutes. Then, as suddenly as it appeared it shot

straight up and out of sight, all the rest ofthat

evening we kept looking to see if we could see it

again, but it was gone.
