Blind Open 2011 Lets go to Le Montagne!

The Blind Open 2011 will be held on 6 and 7 August in the French town of La Montagne where they will play fifteen categories. Registration for this tournament is free.

If you want to touch the sky this is your chance. Krung Thep The Open will be held in the high-rise hotel Baiyoke, Bangkok, Thailand on August 6.In this small championship will be played only six categories.

Moscow

The Russian capital is a place full of attractions for hiking and cultural excursions. Some of these points of interest are the Monastery of the Holy Trinity, the Arbat street, the Kremlin, the Armoury and Diamond Fund among others.

In addition the city also has many museums and galleries as Pintu Russian Tretyakov, the Museum of Fine Arts Pushkin Museum and the Museum of cosmonautics or the Museum-panorama Borodino.

La capital rusa es un lugar repleto de puntos de interés para realizar caminatas y excursiones. Alguno de estos puntos de interés son El monasterio de la Santa Trinidad, la calle Arbat, el Kremlin, la Armería y el fondo de diamantes entre otros.

Además la ciudad también dispune de museos tal como la galería de pintua rusa de Tretyakov, el museo de las bellas artes Pushkin, el museo de la cosmonáutica o el museo-panorama Borodinó.

The name of the restaurant comes from folksy Russian slang equivalent to something like “Oh fiddlesticks!” That’s the first clue as to what dining here is going to be like. Many Westerners find the backwoods peasant theme profoundly weird, but the food is cheap and filling.

This hostel is located in the heart of Moscow, only 5 minutes walk from the Red Square and Kremlin. It offers a 24-reception, bar with karaoke and free Wi-Fi access.

The Red Square Hostel provides air-conditioned dormitories with satellite TV. Each offers plenty of natural light and orthopaedic beds for comfort. Bathroom facilities are shared.

The Red Square offers a traditional Russian breakfast, featuring pancakes with caviar and sour cream. Home-brewed beer and fish snacks are served at the bar.

Red Square HostelEste hostal está situado en el corazón de Moscú a sólo 5 minutos andando de la Plaza Roja y de Kremlin. Ofrece servicio de recepción 24 horas, bar con karaoke y acceso gratuito a Internet.

El hostal Red Square cuenta también con dormitorios con aire acondicionado, TV, luz natural, camar ortopedicas para mayor comodidad. Los baños son compartidos.

La hostal ofrece un desayuno tradicional de Rusia, con crepes con caviar y crema agria. Cerveza casera y bocadillos de pescado se sirven en el bar.

El nombre del restaurante viene de la jerga folclórica rusa equivalente a algo así como "Oh, ¡Qué disparate!" Esa es la primera pista de lo que comer aquí, es como va a ser. Muchos occidentales suelen encontrar la ambientaci´on campesinas profundamente extraña, pero la comida es barata y abundante.

When and why did you startd with rubiks cube?I started cubing in April, 2008, after browsing youtube. I saw there were youtube awards for different categories, and the award for best instructional video was Dan Brown's "How to solve a Rubik's Cube" I didn't have one at home, so I went to the shops and bought a cheap one, and solved it within a few hours of first watching the video.

What your family and friends think about rbik's cube and speedsolving?My family and friends think it's pretty interesting, some more so than others. But they're generally supportive of my cubing.

How do you feel now that you are one of the best recordman of rubik's cube history with only 15 years? Are your family and friends proud of it?I don't really think about it, but I guess it's pretty nice to have a world record in something. And yes, my family and friends are proud of it.

Who is your favorite female cuber and tell us why? Maria OeyWell as Maria asked the question, I can't say her. :p:p I would probably have to say Andrea Javier from Melbourne. She is the president of the RMIT Rubik's cube club, which organises competitions here in Melbourne. She's really cool too.

¿Cuándo empezaste con el cubo de rubik y por qué?Empezé con el cubo en abril del 2008 después de haber navegado por youtube. Ví que había diferentes categorías y el premio por el mejor video de instruciones fué para Dan Brown con el vídeo "How to solve a Rubik's Cube". Yo no tenía ningún cubo en casa así que fuí a comprar uno barato y conseguí resolver el cubo en varias horas después de haber visto el vídeo por primera vez.

¿Qué piensan tu familia y tus amigos sobre el cubo de rubik y el speedsolving?Mi familia y mis amigos piensan que es una afición interesante, más que las otras. Pero ellos siempre me dan su apoyo.

¿Cómo te sientes ahora que eres uno de los mejores recordman de la historia del cubo de rubik con sólo 15 años? ¿Están tu familia y tus amigos orgullosos de ello?Yo no le doy demasiada importancia pero me parece genial tener un record del mundo en algo. Y si, mi familia y mis amigos están orgullosos de ello.

Ella es la presidenta del club RMIT Rubik's cube que organiza competiciones aquí en Melbourne. Ella también es genial.

¿Cómo vas a gastar todo el dinero que vas a ganar en el mundial? rubikazBueno primero tendré que hacerlo bien pero si gano algo seguramente voy a guardarlo.

¿Empezaste directamente resolviendo el cubo por color neutro o antes tenias un color de cruz fijo? rubikazEmpezé con color neutro y la razón es porque Dan Brown en su vídeo ofrece un buen consejo que consiste en resolver la cruz más fácil.

¿Cuál crees que va a ser tu mejor record? rubikazNo lo sé en este momento. No me veo a mi mismo batiendo ninguno de los actuales records del mundo, especialmente el 5.66.

How are you going to spend all the money you will win the World Championship?Well firstly, I have to do well. But if I win anything, I'll probably just save it.

Did you start trying it directly as a neutral color or in the beginning you had a fixed cross color?I started colour neutral, and the reason for this, is because Dan Brown, in his video did offer a good tip, which was to solve the easiest cross.

What do you think will be your best record ever?I don't know at this stage, I don't really see myself breaking any current world records, especially not 5.66
