Background

The U.S, Cuba and Soviet Union 1959, Fidel Castro overthrows Batista who was backed by

the U.S Castro took over all the U.S businesses in Cuba including

a huge sugar industry 14 October 1962, US U2 spy planes took pictures of

suspected USSR missile sites on Cuba. 3,000 km range also included Canada Blockade established and the U.S was on the blink to

launch an airstrike/ invasion. Cuba remain a communist state
