VOTE ELEANOR DOUGHTY FOR CUB EDITOR2013/14!

I am currently Cub PhotographyEditor and have been a constantly

contributor to the magazine from myfirst term at Queen Mary!

This year I have been involved inediting final copy and layout,

working alongside Anna and thesubs in the final production of the

magazine!

2nd year English student my

dissertation is in part concernedwith print media!

I have a wide variety of experiencein the national press having worked

with the teams at Harpers Bazaar,The Independent, Instyle, The

Times, Elle and Glamour, amongst

others!

Weekly contributor to TheIndependent and The Huffington

Post UK, alongside Cosmopolitansuniversity supplement and otherindependent publications!

I want to work closely with housingservices to provide Cub in every flat

of University accommodation research has found that physical

presence in flats is the best way togarner student support!

I am keen to encourage better qualityof writing and a wider range of writers,

to increase student outreach and qualityof the magazine!

I want to introduce regular features toensure the gut reaction when can I

read more? across campus andaccommodation!

The establishment of closerconnections with arts/literary

societies across the University opens

doors to a wider range of contributors;this is a link I want to maintain through

the year!

The introduction of editorial teamprofiles will extend us to the studentbody, enabling open communication

between editors and contributors!
