International Credit Union Day October 15, 2020 October 15, 2020 October 15, 2020 October 15, 2020 Each year we come together to celebrate International Credit Union Day to raise awareness about what it means for mem- bers around the world to have a credit union as their financial partner. This year's global health crisis has been trying for many com- munities around the world, but credit unions stayed true to their cooperative principles and stepped up during this time of economic uncertainty. This year's theme “Inspiring hope for a global community” reflects how credit unions contribute to a brighter future by providing financial empowerment to peo- ple all over the world through financial ser- vices, education and support. Due to the current health pandemic we won’t be serving refreshments in the lobby but members are invited to swing by the drive- through on Thursday, October 15. Not only will we have a treat for each member, but every 5th member will have the opportunity to pick an envelope to win a cash prize. HAEFCU Covid Kit GivewayHAEFCU Covid Kit GivewayHAEFCU Covid Kit GivewayHAEFCU Covid Kit Giveway There’s no doubt that this school year will be challenging

for our educators. We decided to help a couple lucky

teachers get prepared by giving them an HAEFCU Covid

Kit. Each kit contained some of the most sought after

items which included 3 containers of disinfecting wipes, 3

boxes of Kleenex, 2 bottles of hand sanitizer, 2 bottles of

hand soap and 2 cans of disinfecting spray (they’ll have

to find their own toilet paper!).

To be entered in the drawing, members had to share a

picture in their mask on our Facebook post.

Congratulations to lucky members

Marisa Krekelberg and Stacey Westby!

While the Huron School District staff was busy at in-service preparing for the upcoming school year, the HAEFCU credit

union fairies were working their magic in the parking lot.

Several people came out to their vehicle to find ice cream cone coupons on their windshields. Twenty lucky people received a special coupon with a gold star, giving them a loan discount coupon of 1% off a new loan! We’ve only had a couple of these “special” coupons redeemed so if you or someone you know still has one make sure to contact our of-fice to get more details. The coupons are good through 12-31-20 so there’s still time to use them.

Holiday Loans will be available again this year. A convenient and affordable way to

help with all your expenses.

Contact the office for

further details!
