Offline monitor analysis
IDEA: analysis of a sample of reconstructed events (a step forward after the check made by the online monitor), in a short time, just after the run is finished
How to implement it ?Status of the workQuestions? Suggestions?
CU Beamtest Workshop III, June 28-30, 2006C. Cecchi – S. Germani – M. Pepe
How many events with the reconstruction?
-it depends on the time between runs (?)
Start from xxx_digi.rootxxx_merit.rootxxx_recon.rootxxx_svac.root
Complete reconstruction of a sample of events is nedeed:- Tracks: number, directions- Cal: energy, directions- Acd: energy- Trigger- Ancillary: positions, directions

Code is now running under root as a simple macro for the user Do we want a compiled versions? Yes.... Add it to the pipeline.
- Open and read output files from Gleam (merit, digi)- Open and read a file with reference histo (available before the TB and based on MC simulation of different configurations )
- Select type of run: run number
beam energybeam angleparticle idmagnetic field
- Plot selected quantities- Make a comparison with reference histo - Produce warnings and/or alarms in case of failure
It would be possible to have thoseinformation in the file name ofthe data?

List of selected variables (II):
Trigger (from Digi): - GemCondSummWord (temp from Merit) - GemCondArrTime (not filled in MC)
Acd: - AcdTotalEnergy - AcdTileCount
Ancillary (Z=beam axis!) : - positiony[i=0,3] vs positionz[i=0,3]

The code is available and running (an example can be shown during this workshop if people are interested)
All possible changes can be discussed here and implemented before the TB
Reference histos for all the configurations to be produced
Comments/suggestions are welcome!
