HAAG-STREIT SURGICAL’s ceiling units CU 3-51 / 55 are recom-mended as support systems for surgical operating microscopes of the superclass, if more space is required in the operating room. The newly designed ceiling units support all microsurgical proce- dures in Ophthalmology and Plastic & Reconstructive surgery with its long arm reach and its perfect damping. Benefit from the greatest flexibility, safe working positions, and minimal setting periods!

For individual solutions regarding the installation of the CU 3-51 / 55, we offer intermediate bodies for different ceiling heights from 2900 mm to 4000 mm. To fulfill user’s wishes, a modular accessory structure is available, allowing the integration

of documentation and recording systems, intraoperative OCT, and 3D solutions.

Via the multi-touch monitor C.MON HD, all functions of the ceiling unit can be controlled, e.g. automatic balancing, camera control, as well as documentation and recording.

Take advantage of the intuitive user interface that allows the generation and memorization of up to 30 individual user settings with up to five disciplines.

The HAAG-STREIT SURGICAL’s CU 3-51 / 55 is designed to enhance your work in the operating room. It provides maximum flexibility, nearly effortless movability, and an AutoReset function. Whenever you lift the microscope over an individual position, the light will turn off and the initial user settings will be loaded.

The concept of the CU 3-51 / 55 is to combine comfort and precision without demanding much space. A state-of-the-art damping system ensures the lowest vibrations after touch and movement. A fast and safe return into a stable working position is another advantage, making the process of surgery faster and stress-free.

Thanks to our automatic balancing system, operating the ceiling unit is easier than ever before. You simply need to push one button to get it into the perfect position. As it reacts with extreme sensitivity, movement requires little force and one hand only. The benefit for you is obvious: less effort, less distraction, more free-dom to focus on your work.

All functions of the CU 3-51 / 55 are linked to the control center and displayed on the home screen. All essential information is visible in one place, from camera settings to user settings for up to 30 surgeons, from control of HS MIOS 5 to control of OR light. Changes in speed con-trol can be stored directly for the active user. The ceiling unit settings include a special menu for showing the camera image in small or full screen. For easy and flexible connection of the system to the hospital environment, panels are located on both sides of the control center.

C.MOR HD3

Integrated HD cameraC.MOR HD3 is a full-HD color video camera designed for the HAAG-STREIT SURGICAL microscope. Its ultracompact camera head includes a 1/3” CMOS sensor that meets very high standards. With an HD resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels, images are crisp and sharp. The camera is available in a one-chip and a three-chip version. Different user settings allow individual adjustments.

C.MON HD

Display in HD For simple and complete overview, all relevant information is displayed on the control center screen of the 21.5-inch multi-touch monitor C.MON HD. This includes individual control of the microscope and user settings, control of the HS MIOS 5, as well as control of camera settings and OR Light. The benefit is obvious: You don’t have to switch to different screens during operations and can absolutely focus on your work. Its touch function can be operated even with medical gloves. Due to the planar screen and glass surface, it can be disin- fected easily. For the safety of the system C.MON HD is fully approved for medical use.

Modular or fully equippedThe HAAG-STREIT SURGICAL’s CU 3-51 / 55 is available fully equipped or with suitable components according to your individual requirements.For customized solutions the CU 3-51 / 55 is equipped with specially designed compartments for cameras, recording, iOCT, or 3D. Compart- ments not in use are safely covered with precisely fitting frames. A separate OR-lighting can be easily installed in addition (see picture on page 4/5).
