PROBE SPECIFICATIONS: Standard heavy-duty Steel probe model CT-201 is 9” long. Compact Steel probe model CT-200 is 6” long Each probe contains one SP/ST, normally closed, mercury switch. Probes are available in optional Stainless Steel model CT-201S (9") and model CT-200S (6") Probes with a paddle for use in applications where the materials are moving. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

MOUNTING: The control unit should be mounted in an area free from vibration and the temperatureshould not exceed 125° F. Consideration should be given to mounting the unit whereindicator lights will be visible to the necessary personnel, and wiring may be easilyinstalled to the probe and other machinery.

WIRING: All wiring should be in compliance with applicable Local, Federal, and State codes.Probe connection cable is 16-2 type SO and is attached to the probe. Length is suppliedas specified per order (probe cable may be spliced).

PROBE INSTALLATION:The probe should be suspended using a fixed support at a position where it will easilyintercept the bulk material at the desired indication point. There must be a free flow ofmaterial both to and away from the probe. In some installations, it is necessary to install abaffle or shield above the probe assembly to protect it from product surges.
