CSS Treasury Series Provides Cash Management Effi ciencies Cash management remains an unsung burden of reconciliation, preparing for deposits and ensuring employee adherence to company policy. Companies that depend on cash transactions for profi t require solutions that provide immediate visibility and control of their cash. The CSS Treasury Series gives management increased confi dence in cash deposit accuracy and speed of reconciliation.

Through an easy touch-screen interface, employees are able to make accurate and verifi ed shift-close deposits. Simplifying shift closeout, with greater accuracy and accountability, is designed into the employee-facing software. This allows

management to review and reconcile deposits automatically, by cashier or by shift, making the day-close reporting much faster and easier.

The Treasury Series can store and manage information on all safe activity by user. Safe usage, the date and time of deposits, amount deposited, and the date and time of cash removals can be captured by event monitoring video. The safe can be confi gured to allow access for cash drops, or door opening by different security levels. Activity can be further controlled with either multiple time lockouts or time delay periods, reducing the threat of both internal and external robbery attempts.

These combined features allow employeesto complete many of their cash manage- ment tasks on their own while providing greater accountability and visibility of their deposit activity. This increases both employee productivity and managers’ ability to speed end-of-day cash management procedures.

LOCK ACCESS OPTIONSKeeping the safe door closed and limiting access to only those who need access, when they need access, is a best practice in cash management. The CSS Treasury Series provides dual access accountability. You have the option of coupling a personal identifi cation number (PIN) with either fi ngerprint recognition, which allows for positive identifi cation of each safe user, Dallas Key, or Swipe Card technology to provide a redundant level of identity verifi cation.

This redundancy can enable a wide range of operations including controlling access to separate compartments in the safe and limiting access to cash drops, tills and change funds in accordance with your business procedures.

BODY OPTIONSA safe needs to be able to support how you deposit and withdraw cash during operations. The CSS Treasury Series is built on a secure, integrated platform to meet the needs of today’s retailers. The series is built upon multiple body styles of business-rated safes that provide a secure repository for cash. Different styles include drop slot, mail box drop and rotary hopper with single or dual doors. All of our safes allow you to make quick and easy deposits directly into

a secure inner compartment without having to access the main compartment of the safe. The mail box drop means the safe door is opened less often, enabling a closed-safe environment. The fewer times a safe door is opened, the more secure the contents. These features not only reduce the threat of robbery, burglary and cash shrinkage, but also provide businesses the ability to securely and consistently execute cash transactions across all their locations.

SYSTEM INTEGRATION With a secure enclosure and lock set, effective cash control requires visibility. CSS cash management solutions can be networked and integrated into existing business systems to provide remote cash monitoring and access management, further enabling a closed safe environ- ment. Cash received into the safe is secure until removed to make a bank deposit by either an armored-car service provider or an authorized staff member. Access can be granted and monitored remotely to aid in enforcing business rules and identifying procedure violations.

Each deposit is recalled in a fl exible database, indicating the amount, date, time and the person who made the transaction. All information that is captured can be accessed remotely and easily to support all auditing activity. The Treasury Series also offers you the ability to fully integrate with your P.O.S. systems, allowing you to track the fl ow of cash to the individual transaction level. The Treasury Series PCATS-NAXML format allows for the industry’s easiest application integration.

The Treasury Series also offers the option of full video event monitoring. This capability provides live video feed and pre-event monitoring of areas where cash handling takes place. This capability can not only aid crime investigations, but may deter the crime from ever occurring.

The overall impact of these features is increased security, reduced theft and improved employee productivity and morale. The ability to accept cash in a secure, closed-safe environment also enables productivity gains. Retail staff can spend more time with customers, since they spend less time conducting cash transactions, transferring cash from the point of sale to the safe, and reconciling discrepancies when counts do not match receipts.
