1. System requirements and restrictions

Others K-Source CSS viewer must be installed beforehandOr license key for K-Source CSS viewer must be provided from your K-Source admin

Restriction After this installation, CD based CSS Viewer (K-Source) will not work.After this installation, launching CSS Viewer from Windows start menu will not work.Instead of above functions, please use Web-based CSS Portal or K-Source.

2. Preparation

Before installation of CSS Portal Ver2, uninstallation of old programs is REQUIRED.

Target programs to uninstall CSSPortal_ENG, CSSPortalKitPatch, CSSPortalL1PatchAnd all other old CSS Portal programs that has same CSS Portal icon

3. Installation procedure for Windows VISTA

1 Right Click and select 'Run as administrator' on 'BaseInstaller_(X).exe'

Note) If you run not as administrator, the installation will fail without any message.

2 Click 'Continue'

3 Click 'OK'

4 Click 'Next'

5 Click 'Next'

6 Click 'Install'

7 Click 'Finish'

8 Right Click and select 'Run as administrator' on 'CSSPortal-Eng(V).exe'

Note) If you run not as administrator, the installation will fail without any message.

9 Click 'Continue'

10 Click 'Next'

11 Click 'Next'

12 Click 'Install'

13 Another window appears. And on the new window, click 'Licenses'

14 Confirm a 'Publisher-Linked Viewer License'-KOMATSU is installed.And click 'OK'

In case of missing the license keyPlease choose a) or b).a) Get the license key from your K-Source admin, click 'New' and enter.b) Uninstall both CSS Portal Ver2 programs, install K-Source and do this procedure from first.

15 Click 'Finish'

16 The installation procedure is finished.Now you can open CSS Portal Ver2 from created Desktop icon.

[ Note ] Pop-up BlockerCSS Portal is using pop up window for SMAP, TSS, KOMTRAX, WebCARE, K-Source, e-StanRATE and so on.If you set 'Pop-up blocker' available on IE, Google tool bar or other similar tools, you must set your 'Pop-up blocker' to allow CSS Portal site to use pop-up window.
