JAMIPOL, as a corporate entity, believes that supporting our stakeholders and communities is a fundamental principle of our Corporate Social Responsibility and the strength behind our sustainability. The Company commits to exercise its responsibilities for the historically disadvantaged communities as a good Corporate. In pursuit of the same it attempt to take several conscious measures to initiate the improvement of the society on an ongoing basis.

We, as an organization, aims to put all our efforts to actively contribute to the social and economic development of the communities in which we operate and help to build a better, sustainable way of life for the underprivileged sections of society. The major CSR areas of JAMIPOL:

Partnering with NGOs for running mid-day meals for local schools located near JAMIPOL plants.

Improving quality of education in existing schools.

Augmenting and supporting infrastructure in schools and educational institutions located near JAMIPOL plants.

Setting up programmes to offer scholarships and financial assistance to needy and meritorious students.

Developing educational material and methodologies

Employability : Promises to our youth

Sponsorship of Tailoring Centre for Women in Tornagallu to encourage women empowerment amongst the villagers near our Toranagallu plant. This project to be undertaken in partnership with JSW Steel Ltd

Sponsoring candidates for skill development and vocational training programmes offered at identified institutions.

Health and Awareness : Care for the Community.

Setting up and running clinics for women and children.

Reducing infant and maternal mortality.

Providing family planning services.

Organizing health camps/Eye camps.

Promoting awareness about various health issues and generating demand for health services

Social Projects & Disaster Relief : Service to the Community.

Undertaking plantations and afforestation activity.

Promoting awareness about environmental issues.

Setting up hand pumps and shed in the nearby slums of JAMIPOL plants to faces acute water shortage.

Proactively working with renowned NGOs towards Suicidal Preventions programmes specially among teens.

Extending relief measures during times of natural disasters, anywhere in the country.

Undertaking and supporting rehabilitation measures post-disasters
