born – covering the activities and CSR events within L&T Con-struction.

With each issue passing, innumerable events and CSR ac-tivities have been swelling, growing manifold. Reaching Out has truly been reaching out to L&T-ites and to outsiders too – to our business associates and CSR players across many or-ganizations/institutions.

What’s more, as a commitment to the Sustainability Drive, these are being circulated more as an ‘e-publication’ and a very limited print-run passes through the hands of our sen-iors, departmental heads, at the reception desks of offices and guest houses.

ABCI [the Association of Business Communicators of In-dia, Mumbai], in their 52nd Annual Event, has awarded the ABCI Gold Award to ‘Reaching Out’!

This comes as a crowning glory of the cumulative work of the entire L&T-ites in their CSR endeavor, and to the CCD Team at Chennai, that has been capturing and rendering this very attractive ‘Reaching Out’, over these three quarters of 2012, so well. The Communication strategy to hive off CSR sto-ries out of the ECC News and to create a separate publication, has indeed been the seed to this first fruits of the endeavour.
