Deliverable: Preparation of low permittivity pressboard by blending of synthetic polymers, like Cromp-
140, Cromp-190 fibers with cellulose. Studied different variables like temperature, pressure, amount of adhesive, time for the
preparation of pressboard. Modified pressboard has dielectric constant of 3.6 to 3.8 compared to virgin pressboard (4.4
to 4.8) with addition of 25% Cromp-140 fibers.
