Staterooms are subject to cancellation if required deposits are notreceived within the specified option period. The balance of the cruise faremust be received by Crystal Cruises no later than 75 days before sailing. Allreservations are subject to cancellation if payments are not received by thedue date. Cancellations Prior to EmbarkationCancellation requests must be made by telephone or in writing toCrystal Cruises. If the request is received by Crystal Cruises more than 75 daysprior to the Crystal Air/Sea Program departure date, a full refund of amountsalready paid will be made to the guest through the travel agent except asnoted herein below. Cruise Protection ProgramThe Cruise Protection Program is insurance available for purchase by guests,and provides reimbursements for penalties that may be assessed due tocancellations for covered reasons, as well as medical expense reimbursementfor covered sickness or accidents overseas. Medicare and many privateinsurance policies restrict coverage of medical expenses incurred abroad.In addition, the “Rollover Provision” is especially beneficial for guests whoneed to cancel their sailing because of a pre-existing medical condition, andare denied a cash refund from BerkelyCare, Ltd., allowing guests to applytheir penalized cruise fare to another Crystal cruise within 12 months of thedate of cancellation. If purchased, the Cruise Protection Program premiummust be paid in full with the final cruise payment; it cannot be added at alater date.
